Centre for Effective Practice brought together a diverse group of thought leaders with expertise in eHeatlh and electronic medical records (EMRs) in the winter of 2012/2013 to participate in two roundtable conversations. The main goal of the meetings was to "identify challenges and opportunities to improve the uptake of evidence-based tools, such as clinical practice guidelines, by physicians and other primary care providers by focusing on electronic medical records." Common themes of discussion as well as a number of potential projects and strategies were identified and are summarized in the final report.
