Provincial Low-Back Pain Strategy

As part of the Excellent Care for All Strategy, the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care (MOHLTC) has funded a provincial initiative on Low-Back Pain. The Centre for Effective Practice has been engaged to lead the Provider Education components. This strategy aims to enhance patient care, improve wait times and reduce inappropriate diagnostic utilization.

The Centre for Effective Practice worked collaboratively to engage primary care providers and relevant organizations to develop a toolkit, which includes a NEWLY developed CORE Back Tool, and MainPro accredited in-person and online course. Material is available in both English and French.
