Matt provides general project support, with a specific focus on tool development and the evaluation of clinical practice guidelines, for the CEP.
He brings experience in clinical practice guideline evaluation gained as a volunteer in the Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute. He has also supported content development for a patient education website intended for physicians at Scarborough General Hospital. During his undergraduate studies, Matt worked as a research assistant in the University of Toronto’s anthropology department, investigating the potential effects of socioeconomic status on skeletal development. Matt also brings experience interacting directly with patients, as a former optometric assistant and pharmacy assistant.
Matt received his honours bachelor of science degree in health and disease, and biological anthropology, from the University of Toronto.
