Pippy brings experience working in health care, a background in start-ups and a passion for finding effective and efficient solutions through the use of new technologies, tools, processes and procedures.
Her role at the CEP involves providing support and coordination for projects related to eHealth implementation and integration, assisting in the development of CEP tools and research into EMR platforms, and bridging the gap between evidence and practice through the creative use of technology.
Pippy’s first job was in health care and her early experience gives her insight into the structure, function and day-to-day realities of primary care in particular, and the Ontario health care system more broadly. She is keenly aware of the challenges healthcare providers face and the need for practical and effective client-focused solutions. Prior to joining the CEP, Pippy worked at Counter Tax Lawyers, an innovative, start-up law firm in Toronto.
She received her honours bachelor of arts degree in International Development Studies and African History from Dalhousie University and a master of science in international politics from the School of Oriental and African Studies at the University of London.
